How to Ship Your Wax Models to Us - A Guide for Goldsmiths and Jewelers

Your wax model is ready and you want to send it in for casting? Here's everything you need to know to make sure the process runs smoothly - from preparing your model to filling out the delivery note.

    Preparing your model

Before you pack and ship, check that your model meets these minimum requirements:

    • Sprues: at least Ø 2 mm
    • Wall thickness: at least 0.7 mm
    • Packaging: each model individually padded inside a sturdy box

Wax is fragile. A solid box with enough cushioning is the simplest way to make sure your model arrives in one piece.

    The delivery note - non-negotiable

Every shipment must include a delivery note - handwritten or printed. A handling fee applies if the delivery note is missing or incomplete.

    Please include the following:

    • Which model should be cast, and in what quantity
    • Your desired alloy (e.g. Argentium® Silver 940, Yellow Gold 585, Platinum 950)
    • Desired finish - e.g. raw, polished or matte (optional; finishing options available from 10 pieces)
    • Your email address and phone number
    • Billing address and delivery address

    Shipping address

    Send physical models to:

    Aureon Systems GmbH
